I’m 23 years old and trying to address some persistent issues that stem from taking ashwagandha three years ago. I’ve been dealing with symptoms like anhedonia, low libido, brain fog, fatigue, and memory problems. I’ve tried several supplements to combat these effects, including:
PEA, Rhodiola Rosea, St. John’s Wort ze117, Cyproheptadine, ALCAR, Myo inositol, Ginko, Ginseng, Maca, Tongkat Ali and much more
Unfortunately, none of these have brought relief. I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced similar issues or has suggestions on what might help. Are there supplements, specific diets or lifestyle changes that could aid in reversing these symptoms? Also, would TRT be worth considering?my levels are 450ng/dl at 23 I’m always tired and have no desire. my diet is actually good aswell.
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Mate so many things to do before jumping to TRT. I know it feels like you’ve exhausted all options but I promise you we can try more things before TRT. Do you have any more lab work? DHT, free T, Prolactin, CBC, CMP, Organic acids would all be a really great start.
Any other symptoms not listed? (ex: poor sleep, bloating, pain, etc)
B12 injections or methylated b12 vitamin, look into MTHFR gene because you might have it. Check your ferritin levels, if they are high it could be the reason for all of this. Free T is all that matters when it comes to testosterone numbers. If you are under or near 10 pg/ml it could explain all these symptoms by itself and maybe TRT is the best option but Are you living insulin controlled? do you have a lower body fat percentage? if the answer is no to either of those or both, change those first and get the body fat percentage down because that is the biggest indicator of test levels, the more fat percentage, the more aromatase the less testosterone AND the more estrogen, its literally a double whammy on your horomones sending them the wrong way.
