I usually did pre-workout, bcaa’s and a teaspoon of coconut oil. I’ve heard in the past that coconut oil in a small amount wont break a fast but I can’t confirm that.
Anyways, I found with heavy lifting I got light headed. And overall I felt like I might be releasing too much cortisol.
Now I have a protein shake with fruit and dairy about an hour before I take my pre-workout which is 30 mins before I train.
To be honest. I feel like I cam comfortable lifting more with food in my stomach but I’m not sure if its placebo effect.
In terms of muscle building/fat loss I havent noticed a difference.
Yohimbine, Paraxanthine, Dileucine and Phenylalanine works well for me!
